  Lovely country pub / restaurant. Food was lovely, in fact the rice pudding is the best I have ever tasted. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Decor is tidy, plenty of parking. Would definitely return.

  I loved this place. Very casual in its manner with a high quality in terms of front of house and what arrived on the plate. They provided proper children's cutlery; different person who took the order and who served; answered my questions about the details of the food; you felt as though nothing was too much trouble. We ordered two small boards - one charcuterie and the other the falafel. They were both really nice and at room temperature. Especially delicious was the aubergine pickle/spread that came on the side. Lots of depth and flavour. Then for mains we had the Hake and Pork belly. The latter was from a local farmer. They were both just good. The pork could have been cooked for longer to make it a little softer. Only improvement I would suggest was for more local produce. Welsh lamb is fantastic and I think this place would make it taste even better. I will most certainly return.
